You will need to decide which option works best for you. However, please note that for the website hosting and monthly upkeep, I only accept yearly payments—not monthly. This structure is more suitable for me personally, as it allows me to manage my time, resources, and overall workflow more effectively. Website maintenance, on the other hand, is a separate service, and you can add that on if needed.

Here’s the breakdown:

  1. Yearly Domain Fee

    • This is the cost of owning your website name (example: www.sgh.com).

    • You pay it once a year to keep the name registered in your control.

    • If you don’t renew it, someone else can buy your domain.

    • Think of it like paying rent for your address on the internet.

  2. Monthly Hosting Fee

    • This is the cost to keep your website live and running on the internet.

    • Hosting is like the land and electricity where your website “lives.”

    • Without hosting, your domain would exist, but there would be no website showing up when people visit it.

  3. Web Maintenance Fee

    • This covers the upkeep and servicing of your website.

    • Includes updates, fixing errors, backups, adding new features, updating content, and making sure the site stays secure and optimized.

    • Just like how a car needs servicing after you’ve bought it, a website needs regular care beyond just being online.

  • Domain = your online name (paid yearly).

  • Hosting = your website’s home (paid monthly).

  • Maintenance = keeping it secure, updated, and working smoothly (paid monthly/quarterly depending on agreement).
